The wine produced in this area is of a high standard, so much so it accounts for up to 20% of Australia’s premium wines
Cabernet , Shiraz, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Malbec and Merlot grapes are produced here as well as the white grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling and Semillon
